The role involves driving a culture of continuous improvement, leading and developing a dynamic finance team, and ensuring the financial infrastructure supports the growing needs of the business. This position will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, working closely with senior management, and maintaining strong relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.Requirements

  • ACA (or equivalent) Qualification: Fully qualified accountant with a recognized professional body.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within the financial services industry or similar.
  • IFRS Knowledge: Through understanding of IFRS accounting standards and principles.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing and developing a dynamic finance team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Sytems Expertise: Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP) and troubleshooting financial software issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects and financial processes across different geographical regions.

Desirable:

  • Experience in multinational operations with exposure to Ireland, UK and Middle East regulations
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance for multinational corporations.
