As Area Manager Belgium, you will be responsible of the Veterinary products’ sales in Belgium. You will take over the existing clients portfolio and identify new opportunity to develop the market.Our client is a family-owned company active in the animal health sector and specialised in the distribution of pharmaceutical veterinary products. They have strong ambitions to develop the market in Belgium and the neighbouring countries. They are looking for an Area Manager Belgium, the right hand of the Sales Manager, to bring veterinary expertise to the clients portfolio and to contribute to the growth’s strategy.As a successful Area Manager Belgium – Veterinary Pharma products, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Generate new business opportunities within the veterinary sector.
• Monitor market trends in the Veterinary industry to identify potential opportunities.
• Promote the Pharma products for animal heath to the Veterinarian in Belgium
• Act as a product specialist: Provide advice / recommendation on the utilisation of Veterinary products
• Provide feedback and reports to the Sales Manager on market trends and customer needs
• Propose penetration strategy to increase the market presence

As a successful Area Manager Belgium – Veterinary Pharma products, you will have the following profile

• An academic degree in Veterinary or Scientific fields
• Previous sales experiences in pharmaceutical companies
• Previous sales experience with animal health products is preferred
• An existing veterinarian network is a plus
• Strong communication, negotiations and interpersonal skills
• An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• A strong understanding of market trends in the veterinary industry
• Fluent in Dutch with a very good knowledge of French and English
