This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced entrepreneurial sales professional with natural business development capability to join the company to lead and be the face of their brand in Ireland and the UK.The Regional Sales Manager will work with the existing Sales Representatives to be pioneers in the Irish & UK markets, responsible for utilising their network to lead new business generation, maintaining a book of existing clients and upselling where possible. Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales and leading the existing Sales Representatives to expand market share in Ireland & the UK
  • Managing the performance & profitability of the sales team
  • Generation of new sales and cross selling opportunities within annual targets
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients within the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device sector to achieve target retention rates, improved profitability and organic growth
  • Demonstrate and explain a product/service in a structured approach, to ensure new and existing business is enhanced
  • Keeping senior management aware of competitive activity in the market
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams e.g. Customer Service, Logistics
  • Structured customer care to ensure customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and further expansion of existing customer business

Education and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical/Medical and Biotech sector, specifically Cleanroom related products/services
  • 5 years of sales and/or technical experience (e.g. Quality Control) in the Life Sciences sector
  • Profiles will be considered that have experience selling to the Pharma/Life Sciences and Med Device sectors e.g. Existing network within the relevant industries
  • People management experience
  • Prospecting for new leads and implementing outreach campaigns
  • Experience in dealing with customers and key decision makers
  • Commercial knowledge and business acumen
