We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

• Development and maintenance of Information Systems;
• Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
• Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities;
• Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership;
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;
• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with maximum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Technical and business leadership using agile scrum methodologies;
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in JAVA (8 and later versions) and Java EE with proven experience in developing and deploying JEE-based systems;
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in Angular;
• At least 2 years working experience with Middleware systems such as Weblogic Application Server. Experience in migrating JEE applications from WebLogic 12c to 14c will be considered an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of SpringBoot framework;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL;
• Experience with security test tools (i.e.: Fortify or equivalent) and web site vulnerability scans;
• Experience with DevSecOps information systems, DevOps container or serverless/orchestration tools (ie: Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Buildpacks, Kubernetes, etc.) will be considered an asset;
• Excellent knowledge in service-oriented architecture and REST web services, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable systems;
• Excellent knowledge and proven experience in building robust web applications using the Angular framework;
• Very good knowledge in software architecture principles, design patterns, and associated modelling techniques, including BPMN and UML notations, with hands-on experience with relevant tools;
• Experience with Atlassian collaborative tools (e.g., Confluence and Jira) and Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Visio);
• Experience with JEE, Business Process Management, workflow patterns, microservice architectures and patterns, Domain Driven Design (DDD), Enterprise Integration Patterns, Complex event processing, API design and security;
• Excellent command of the English language, French will be an advantage.
