Job description

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our freight forwarding warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and timeliness.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Conduct regular audits of stock levels and address discrepancies promptly.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse logistics or a similar supervisory role within freight forwarding.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and logistics software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
