We have an exciting new remote opportunity for a Digital Technologies Project Manager.
What You Will Do:
- Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the plan and scope, in conjunction with the company’s commitments and customer expectations.
- Lead project teams through proper Agile practices within the overall Pratt & Whitney agile transformation strategy.
- Conduct full Agile ceremony, including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.
- Maintain healthy backlog of well written stories that are development ready.
Work with developers and Product Management for effective story point estimating.
- Work with development team and product manager for effort estimation.
Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.
- Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.
Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
- Escalation of issues, along with proposed plan, to leadership.
- Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Pratt & Whitney Aerospace.
- Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.
Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience with application lifecycle management platforms such as Team Foundation Server, Jira, Azure Dev Ops or similar tools.
- Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position because of systems supported.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other project management methodologies.
- Project Management certification.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD – 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
