Our client, a leading organization in Washington, D.C., is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in developing and executing effective communication strategies that drive positive change.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals

• Manage relationships with media partners and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders

• Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including content strategy, paid media, and analytics

• Evaluate communication effectiveness and provide data-driven insights for improvement

• Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment

• Support business development and marketing efforts

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

• 6-8 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the public health sector

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication campaigns

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience managing and leading teams

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms

• Strong understanding of measurement and evaluation methodologies

• Experience working with the federal government and agency (preferred)
