Junior General Ledger Accounting & Tax Officer

Job description
Direct tasks that you will be responsible for are:
- Processing automated entries from sub ledgers or external systems
- Processing of un automated entries
- Generating intercompany transactions and related documentation
- Preparation of monthly corporate tax provision and tax proofs
- Providing information to auditors, tax authorities and regulators
- Reconciliation, and documentation of accounts, including intercompany positions
- Creating and assessing period end entries
- Assuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of entries
- Liaising with legal, corporate secretary, tax and treasury for completeness
- Completing internal controls
- Reporting in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP (if needed)
- Support preparation and filing of monthly VAT returns
- Support preparation and filing of annual corporate income tax returns
- Preparation of monthly report of Euronext Group legal entities
- Record and Process General Accounting transactions
- Perform intercompany accounting
- Analyse and reconcile accounts
- Close books and aggregate financial results
- Perform Financial Reporting
- Support performing Statutory/Regulatory Reporting
- Other General Accounting related activities
Preferred skills
- Accounting background in a multinational environment with strong analytical skills
- Experience with an ERP system— MS Dynamics is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel
- Positive “can-do” attitude, flexibility, and excellent attention to details
- Sense of responsibility, initiative, and high-quality work standard
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team worker
Qualification requirements
- Higher accounting degree or qualified education in finance according to local education system
- Strong accounting background with analytical skills
- Accounting experience (2 years or more)
- Ongoing professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is an advantage
