The Syrian Women’s Network “Women of Hope Organization”
A non-profit organization licensed in Turkey since 2015 working in the field of training and capacity building for women, advocacy and defending their rights, aiming to build a democratic society based on freedom, justice and gender equality. The network consists of a group of organizations and individuals. It is currently seeking to attract experts to work within its current projects.
Required experiences and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in providing training in the field of advocacy and managing related campaigns.
- The ability to build an advocacy plan and develop a campaign strategy
- Empower and accompany advocacy campaigns.
- Understanding local and international laws and legislation related to women’s rights.
- The ability to collect and analyze data to support advocacy campaigns.
- Experience in interactive training and preparing practical activities and discussion groups.
- The ability to communicate effectively with women from different backgrounds and cooperate with partners.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparing a training package and an action plan for the advocacy campaign.
- Training participants and enabling them to build an advocacy campaign strategy that aims to meet women’s needs, promote their rights and mobilize for them.
- Providing support and assistance and empowering and training participants throughout the campaign period.
- Following up and evaluating the campaign.
- Cooperating and coordinating with the media team to cover the campaign.
- Cooperating and coordinating with the project manager to write the final report on the training and campaign.
Workplace: Gaziantep
Project duration: Four months at a rate of 50 working days
