The Role

This is an exciting time to join Woolf and help build a university for a borderless future. We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team. Woolf is a globally distributed company backed by world-class investors, and all of our roles are fully remote.

  • You will drive Woolf’s growth by building relationships with innovative university-level educators and bootcamps around the world
  • You will engage current customers in a highly consultative process to help them understand the value of Woolf’s platform for their businesses in a trustworthy way
  • You will work in a new sales organization actively helping to build processes
  • You’ll be joining a growing team of highly-experienced academics, operators, and engineers to support our high-quality, member colleges and accredited programs.
  • This position reports directly to the Director of Partnerships
  • Start date: As soon as possible

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue growth for all partners in Europe and the United States
    • Identify growth opportunities for your partners – e.g., stacking educational content into a new degree pathway
    • Upsell Woolf growth tooling
  • Function as the primary Point of Contact for existing customers
  • Remain in contact with partners to understand their needs to identify new opportunities
  • Work with the customer operations team to respond to partners’ requests
  • Create quarterly account plans and hold frequent meetings with partners
  • Educate partners on Woolf products on a regular basis
  • Be “a Slack away” for partners’ sales teams to enable them to better sell Woolf products
  • Support Woolf in continually refining our sales process
  • Work with other parts of the Woolf team to ensure customer success

Requirements

  • Currently resides in Europe (United States residents may be considered)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in a customer success and/or B2B sales role, preferably selling technical, complex products
  • Must have experience working in an early stage startup and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Must have experience upselling SMB or Mid-Market deals
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote-first environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (SalesForce is a plus)
  • Competitive and hardworking
  • Organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

Benefits

  • Annual Compensation: US$60,000 to US$90,000 (plus Performance Incentives)
