How you’ll make an impact:

The key responsibility of this role is to become an active member of the production team ensuring the targets for health and safety, quality, production efficiency and customer satisfaction are achieved.

What you will do?

Production

In a typical day you will carry out tasks and adhere to the daily production schedule following Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) by completing all production documentation – batch sheets, packing, cleaning and autoclave records as required. You will also perform daily checks of required materials availability train in the use of the various equipment, ensure your work stations are kept tidy and organized.

Occupational Health and Safety

At all times protect the safety and wellbeing of self and others in the workplace by adhering to company and individual site policies/practices, in particular ensuring that you only undertake work for which you are trained in, PPE is used when required without exception, risk assessments are conducted prior to commencing work, hazards are reported as soon as they become apparent and all incidents and near misses are reported to the supervisor immediately

Continuous Improvement

  • Use practical process improvement (PPI) tools and 8-step methodology to evaluate, identify, develop and implement improvements.

  • Actively use the Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) 5-whys tool to evaluate gaps or misses in performance critical metrics and establish sustainable corrective and preventative actions.

  • Embrace the SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (inventory and productivity) culture and actively participate in daily management activities (stand-up meetings, Gembas).

What will put you ahead of the competition?

We are looking for people with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work to a production schedule, use time optimally and can balance multiple tasks. Trouble shooting and mechanical knowledge are desirable.

We’re also looking for those willing to work hard and participate in a constructive manner to improve processes.
