We’re currently looking for an outgoing and motivated Quality Systems Coordinator to be part of a dynamic team who oversee our successful portfolio of outsourced products. Working exclusively with our outsourced manufacturers and supply chain colleagues, you’ll co-ordinate the release process to ensure our quality and regulatory requirements are met.

The role will also see you working cross functionally to provide quality assurance support on QA team and Applications groups on NPD projects as well coordinating all compliance activities. Supported by a well-structured team, this is a unique role to work autonomously. You will be exposed to iconic products and brands and will work with leading technologies and multiple manufacturing and repacking partners.

A day in the life…

Reporting to the Quality Manager and being a crucial link between our outsourced manufacturing activities and factories, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Being the quality functional SME for performing release in SAP of Co-manufactured portfolio of products.

  • Being the quality functional SME for document control in DMS.

  • Ensuring quality compliance for the portfolio of repacked products.

  • Be the QA lead for the finalisation, approval, and implementation of the manufacturing specifications for the re-packer responsible.

  • Continuous improvement and root cause analysis of any repacked product or any on time release misses.

  • Ensure the monitoring of key quality KPI using trend analysis for Ontime release/first time release and consumer complaints.

  • Conduct quality assurance audits of re-packers and ensure all repacked products have up-to-date technical annexes.

What will make you successful

  • Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong team player with a drive to deliver quality outcomes with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.

  • Analytical, and attentive to detail, you’ll rely on your excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills to build solid working relationships and managing results related to product releases.

  • You’ll also need to have a tertiary qualification in food science / food technology or Microbiology.

  • Have experience in a similar quality role having responsibilities for releases, deviation and problem solving, auditing and complaint handling will be beneficial.

  • Essential to this role is your knowledge of the GFSI accredited standards and exposure to HACCP.

  • SAP experience, advanced excel, power BI knowledge and project management is also advantageous.

  • You will be able to confidently communicate with corporate, factory/ supply chain and external stakeholders.
