*Position Summary: *

• Identify and secure new group catering opportunities, setting the pace in the industry

• Work with other operational disciplines to market the property and sell conferences, meetings and & event spaces

• Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements

• Execute photo shoots and brand activations whilst optimising all hotel marketing channels, inspiring brilliance

• Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion 

• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests with each customer experience

• Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts 

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings

• Act as a Marriott ambassador and promote awareness on the hotel 

About You:  

• Relevant experience in a similar role 

• Highly polished verbal and written communication skills

• Working rights in Australia
