An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client based in Waterford for a Production Planner in the Pharmaceutical Industry.This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company at an exciting growth phase.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure sales orders align with allocated customer capacity.
- Create work orders for production planning and non-chargeable hours.
- Plan and schedule production work centers and machines efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Purchasing departments to optimize planning.
- Coordinate with other key departments to streamline processes.
- Update the Master file with product changes affecting planning, including process times and work center routing.
- Prepare reports for senior management meetings.
- Provide daily reporting on key performance indicators such as internal and external OTD, efficiency, etc.
- Process sales orders and input data into the ERP system.
- Manage customer inquiries and update customer portals.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office-based role.
- Experience in manufacturing or scheduling roles preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferable; a certificate will be considered.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience with ERP and customer management systems.
- Proficiency in Excel is require
