Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

Your Role

As our Strategic Capability Manager , you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the necessary activities to maximise the KC-30A aircraft capability from a through-life sustainment perspective. You will need to be working with the Customer to determine the strategic direction of the program and identify long-range opportunities. The responsibility for developing these strategic opportunities ensuring program success will be your responsibility, and you will follow the project from inception to end.

As a Senior Leader in the program, you will be providing leadership and support across the program and facilitate the strategic forward focus. It is crucial that you ensure projects deliver operational results that meet the corporate and customer requirements, and adhere with policies, procedures and processes from both Northrop Grumman Australia and the Customer.

About You

We are looking for a Qualified Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, and proven experience in delivering and managing multiple projects simultaneously. As a natural leader, you will have exemplary stakeholder engagement to effectively partner with all levels across multi-disciplinary teams and the customer.

A broad business experience, skills and acumen, in operations, contracting and contract management, finance, preferably in Aviation or Defence would be beneficial to this position.
