Tax Reconciliation & Financial Reporting Specialist- Insurance – Remote, US
This is a remote position within US – Candidate MUST be located in the United States.

As a Tax Reconciliation and Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of tax-related data between internal systems and the general ledger. This role involves coordinating with various departments to gather necessary files, serving as the primary point of contact for the client’s tax department, and managing the transmission of reconciled data to the client. The specialist must meet tight deadlines and maintain effective client communication.
What you will do:
- Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of wmA tax extracts with the general ledger to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- File Coordination: Coordinate the receipt and validation of files from various user areas, ensuring all necessary data is collected and processed correctly.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the client’s tax department, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the files received.
- Data Transmission: Verify and prepare reconciled files for transmission to the client through the Move IT system, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, preparing and submitting any necessary reports.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience with data transmission systems like Move IT.
Who you are:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is highly preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a combination or additional work experience can also be considered.
- Experience: 5 or more years of experience in tax reconciliation & financial reporting
- Strong understanding and knowledge of tax processes, general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using financial systems and tools, such as wmA and general ledger software.
- Experience working with tax departments or financial institutions.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Remote Work Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Candidates must have a reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work, including video conferencing and data transmission.
- Workspace: Candidates must have a dedicated and secured workspace at home that is free from distractions and allows for focused, uninterrupted work during business hours.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $ 59K – $ 70K.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $58,500 – $108,600.
