Job description

A well-known South-Dublin logistics company is now seeking a Commercial Business Partner. You will work in conjunction with the finance team to deliver forward-looking analysis and recommendations to ensure the various business units maximise opportunities for the most profitable outcomes.Key Responsibilities;

  • Provide information and analysis for the business unit team, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position.
  • Assist in the pricing and terms of both current service offerings and new proposals.
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers and advisors.
  • Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions, and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  • Ensure that the company financial system is robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
  • Assist in developing the local finance teams and share methodology between other business partners.
  • Work with and be part of the senior team to help grow the business and ensure budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
  • Ensure that the forecast is monitored and revised in conjunction with the Business Unit requirements.

Minimum Requirements;

  • Business Partnering or similar experience within a commercial logistics environment.
  • Third-level qualifications encompassing finance or a part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or similar will be considered.
  • Be a commercially astute, articulate, and influential leader with the ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
  • High integrity and openness combined with a commitment to good governance.

Terms:
Full-time, permanent, onsite position with some national or international travel.Package:
