Position Purpose

Increase overall company profitability by growing total market share of the wholesale and retail plumbing supply market.

Customers , Sales Agents, Local Government Departments

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed sales and gross profit targets

  • In conjunction with the General Manager develop realistic regional and individual Sales and Gross p rofit targets

  • In conjunction with the General Manager implement an effective sales administration function ensures an effective coverage of existing and potential customers with prompt and meaningful reporting

  • Support, direct and motivate the Qld Sales Agent (Moody & Winter) to promote AVG, and to achieve Sales Targets

  • Identify new sales opportunities through existing customer base and other potential market segments

  • Ensure that all marketing programmes are effectively understood and implemented (Queensland region)

  • Ensure compliance to AVG’s pricing structure to effectively balance market growth and profit objectives

  • Ensure (Queensland region) do not exceed budget costs and make recommendations to improve efficiencies without compromising customer service

  • Work constructively with BDM on relevant Commercial contractors (Queensland Region) to prevent crossover contact, and to promote beneficial outcome.

  • Inform management of all relevant market information, directly related to AVG and the effect of same.

  • In conjunction with the General Manager ensure effective training programmes are implemented where required

  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures

  • Follow and abide by Company Internet and e-mail protocols.
