About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a talented Account Manager to join our dynamic Rail team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing new customer relationships and building a strategic pipeline of opportunities. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact and drive growth within our organisation. Additionally, this role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK**UK Wide **What you’ll be doing

  • Develop a pipeline of high-quality, profitable opportunities with the right business fit that fully satisfy the circles of risk as defined by the business and whose customers align with the business values.
  • Own the strategy for the sector to include all associated research, review, and associated communication aligned with the implementation of the sector strategy to underpin the financial and operational targets for the respective business plan years.
  • Develop existing customer relationships to secure repeat business opportunities.
  • Develop knowledge of customer business strategy to support work winning and delivery as needed.
  • Populate, develop and maintain CRM system to enable the effective management of customer relationships and pipeline reporting.
  • Develop positive interface between internal delivery teams ensuring key communication and engagement at all times.
