If so, let’s start the conversation..Oversee dispatch via all transport methods including planning routes for own vehicles.·Working with 3rd party carriers to fulfil orders quickly and efficiently.·Liaising with customers where required via phone and email. Including proactively following up failed deliveries and resolving customer delivery issues.·Maintenance of vehicles.·Picking & Packing and preparing deliveries for dispatch.·Checking deliveries in/out, including unloading deliveries.·Recording of key KPI’s and working to improve these.·General housekeeping.·This is not a full list of duties and should not be interpreted as a complete definition of the role.·Manage a small team.·Ability to see pass the immediate Day-to-Day tasks and to forward plan for additional ad hoc task or department improvements.Category: Transportation Administration#transportation
